Hisham Al-Masharfeh
A man of ambition
Amidst shelves loaded with chips and biscuits over rising towers of salt packs, sugar and team and near a refrigerator that has cheap types of ice-cream, sits Hisham Al-Masharfeh behind a small desk in this grocery store that he started in cooperation with Tamweelcom.
The store is part of Al-Masharfeh's home in the city of Madaba near an agricultural road. He benefited from Tamweelcom's program to support small enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Al-Masharfeh says that he decided to enter the labor market after successfully passing the Tawjihi Exam. He got a loan of JD800 for his already existing project. He indicated that he sought to get the loan in order to develop his project. The store's shelves were made of wood, but with the loan that he got, he changed them into metal shelves. He also increased the number of the shelves as the work developed and grew.
Al-Masharfeh explains that he found out about Tamweelcom when he was searching for a loan with conditions and interest rates that match his economic and financial situation. He went to Tamweelcom and agreed with them on the loan. Everything went well and he received the loan shortly.
