From Jordan's port city of Aqaba, with its beautiful shores and refreshing waters, warm sun and markets bustling with tourists, and in one store where handicrafts from wood, steel, marble and glass are made, Marwan and his family of wife and three children makes a normal living.

By mere chance, the loan officer from the Aqaba branch of Tamweelcom visits his shop and offers him a loan to buy modern machines.  The development was launched, and Marwan took a loan for JD400, followed by three loans for JD 500, 100 and 1500.  The total of four loans resulted in accelerating production, increasing sales, and therefore increasing the family's overall income, reflecting on their standard of living in terms of food and clothing.

Marwan moved his children to a private school to raise their educational level.  Their household furniture was renewed, and their standard of living improved.

Marwan's work and skill developed, and he won the City Group award for entrepreneurship.

Marwan says:  "Thank God, and many thanks to Tamweelcom, who came to me.  I trust them and wish them every advancement and prosperity to stand with people and help them build their future."
