Sahar Abu Nassar was able to develop her tailoring workshop in Madaba by obtaining a loan from the Jordan Micro Credit Company (Tamweelcom) in Madaba, not to mention employ nearly 55 women on piecemeal work after she used to work alone at her home.

Sahar, who is supporting her family of five after her husband fell sick and was unable to work anymore, says that Tamweelcom helped her fund the purchase of embroidery machines, increase the number of workers and their salaries and to buy the raw materials need to produce the high quality dresses, bags, shoes, scarves, tablecloths, and others.

Tamweelcom's role did not end at the funding part, according to Abu Nassar, but rather went beyond towards marketing the embroideries by giving her the opportunity to participate in the Souk Ayadi Bazaars that Tamweelcom hosted in Mecca Mall and Abdoun Mall, where she was able to market a large quantity of her work.

Sahar says that Tamweelcom is characterized by the easy borrowing measures.  The funding conditions and terms are easy and one could obtain a loan within one week.  This is in addition to their constant follow-up of the projects that obtain loans, in order to provide assistance in marketing and overcoming any obstacles that may face the clients.  She indicates that she would not hesitate to obtain another loan from the company when she needs to.

Tamweelcom's office director in Madaban, Shurouq Al-Suleimat, told Al-Ra'i newspaper that the company's main concern is for the success of any project that obtains any of our multiple types of loans, so that it would help alleviate the poverty and unemployment, particularly among women in Madaba, by contributing to productive projects that provide a variety of jobs to the people of the city.

She indicated that the company has introduced many new loans, most important of which is the progress loan, which is up to JD5000, in addition to the campaign of "pay and renew" and the loyalty card that is given free to enable Tamweelcom's clients to get a number of privileges and rewards, like the pilgrimage trip, household appliances, health insurance policies, and free training, in addition to 1000 scholarship for the current school year, as well as the ability to participate in Souk Ayadi's bazaars and permanent showrooms.
