18th March 2010, Amman- During the first week of March, 2010, the Jordan Micro Credit Company (Tamweelcom) launched its new product, called “Tawasol Loan”, with the aim of providing additional financial services to Tamweelcom’s active micro-entrepreneur and low income clients
Tawasol Loan seeks to provide a constant source of finance upon request and as needed, to help Tamweelcom’s client obtain these small amounts at any time during the year and in line with easy procedures and simplified uncomplicated processes.
The loan’s motto is focused on the concept of its availability during the year to the client throughout the loan period. The Tawasol Loan provided to Tamweelcom’s clients is characterized by the fact that the client is not responsible for any charges, and applicants are not required to provide any personal and/or in-kind guarantees.
The Tawasol Loan reiterates Tamweelcom’s social mission of being a working microfinance company that provides a variety of the best financial and non-financial services that fulfill the needs of entrepreneurs and low income people.
Tamweelcom is a non-profit company and is one of the pioneering microfinance companies in Jordan that endeavors to fight poverty and unemployment. It was founded in 1999 and is owned by the Noor Al-Hussein Foundation (King Hussein Foundation). More than 142315 projects have been financed using more than JD 66 million, 96% of the projects were for women.
