4 May 2009, Amman – Tamweelcom last week received a Certificate of Excellence for its second place ranking out of the 41 private companies which competed in King Abdullah II Award for Excellence for the private sector.

It was the first time Tamweelcom had entered for this award.

The King Abdullah II Award for Excellence for the private sector was established in 1999 as the highest quality and excellence recognition in Jordan, according to its website. The Award was established to enhance competitiveness of businesses and to promote quality awareness as well as to recognize quality achievers among Jordanian organizations.

The Award criteria for the private sector include skills and processes that encompass leadership, strategic planning, resources management, processes management and results.
