Tamweelcom hosts the seventh Souk Ayyadi bazaar
In Al-Hussein Gardens-Amman

 

The Jordan micro-credit company (Tamweelcom) hosts the seventh Souk Ayyadi bazaar in Al-Hussein Gardens-King Abdullah the second street as one of Amman Summer (2008) Festival’s activities under the motto (welcome to all), starting at the 23rd of July to the 15th of august, between 6 P.M and 12 A.M daily, The event reflects Tamweelcom’s belief in its social responsibility towards its clients and in the need to support entrepreneurial men and women owners of small businesses.

Tamweelcom’s CEO’s Representative Mr. Feras Saqfel Heit indicated that this bazaar is Tamweelcom’s fourth this year and the seventh since the launch of Souk Ayyadi initiative in 2007, the initiative is part of Tamweelcom’s non-financial services provided free-of-charge to its clients, to help them market their products and ultimately raise their income levels and improve their standard of living. Saqfel Heit said that more than 30,000 visitors are expected to visit the bazaar, based on information released about Souk Ayyadi’s first bazaar in Amman in 2007, where average sales reached JD1000 a day; which indicates the benefit that entrepreneurs receive from Souk Ayyadi.

Saqfel Heit conveyed Tamweelcom’s appreciation to Radio Fann, Al-Waseet newspaper, Greater Amman municipality and all those who contributed to the success of the bazaar for undertaking their social responsibility and contributing to improving the social and economic standards of entrepreneurs by allowing them to sell their products inside Souk Ayyadi.

Over 64 Micro-entrepreneurs from Tamweelcom’s 6 branches in Amman are participating in the bazaar, which includes handicrafts, embroiders, ceramics, mosaics and basketry products made by the hands of Tamweelcom’s clients who were trained in the basketry course which was organized and offered free-of-charged by Tamweelcom and The Enhanced Productivity Centers (Irada).
