As part of the Amman Summer Festival 2009
Tamweelcom organizes the 11th Souk Ayyadi Bazaar at Al-Hussein Park

The Jordan Micro Credit Company (Tamweelcom) is organizing the 11th annual Souk Ayyadi Bazaar at Al-Hussein Park as part of the activities of the Amman Summer Festival.

The Souk Ayyadi Bazaar complements the efforts that Tamweelcom launched in 2007 in the framework of its strategic plan that seeks to merge between the financial and non-financial services provided to its clients by means of bazaars and permanent exhibitions, which exemplify the fully integrated services that Tamweelcom endeavors to provide in support of micro-entrepreneurs and in fulfillment of its social message.

There were 60 participants in the Bazaar, displaying handicrafts that included embroidery, pottery, mosaics, straw items and household products.

Tamweelcom’s CEO Ziad Al-Refai said that “the Bazaar brings great benefit to clients in terms of financial revenue and the advancement of their experience in the area of sales.”

Al-Refai added that “Souk Ayyadi is one of the initiatives that aims to enable micro-entrepreneurs to raise their living and social standards through comprehensive services provided by the company to its clients free of charge by means of training, funding and marketing.”

Al-Refai stressed the importance of the Bazaar in increasing the income of Tamweelcom’s clients and transferring them into producers, as well as helping him develop their projects.

In conclusion, Al-Refai commended the efforts of the Bazaar’s supporters, especially the Amman greater Municipality, Al-Waseet newspaper, Radio Rotana, and Mena ITech Company, for their constant support of the local community.
