The micro enterprise sector has experienced a level of maturity and growth in the past decade, during which Tamweelcom’s staff learned a great deal.  The path ahead in this vital sector is still long, not just in Jordan but in the entire world.

Demand on the micro enterprise sector is expected to escalate in the next few years.  As such, Tamweelcom’s team has exerted, and continues to exert a great deal of effort in order to fulfill the Company’s visions and aspirations, which seek to provide assistance and support in the alleviation of poverty and unemployment.

Tamweelcom is assured of its capabilities in the face of anticipated challenges.  This assurance stems from its trust and faith in the abilities and dedication of its devoted staff.  Tamweelcom’s offices and branches throughout the Kingdom offer the best example of working in the spirit of the one team, joined together in the service of the Company’s noble causes.

Management Team

Tamweelcom’s management team is composed of a group of prominent administrators and managers in the field of business management and finance, who dedicated their expertise and skills to enhancing the Company’s standards and performance worldwide.  The management team includes 23 managers who exercise the best and most up-to-date management methods in all of Tamweelcom’s offices and branches throughout the Kingdom.  CEO Mr. Ziad Al-Refai directly supervises the team, placing his own expertise in the service and to the benefit of members of this team.

Mr. Ziad Al-Refai

Mr. Ziad Al Refai has extensive experience in the fields of human development and microfinance. He holds a BA in accounting and an MBA in Microfinance from Bergamo University in Italy, and he is recently accredited as a trainer for these courses by the Microfinance Network of Arab Countries (SANABEL). His expertise in and dedication to microfinance, together with his exceptional talent in administration and finance, continue to lead Tamweelcom towards more successes and prominence in the world of microfinance.

Organizational Structure

Tamweelcom’s modest beginnings in a small office established at the mother company, Noor Al-Hussein Foundation, and a small number of staffers, marked the outset of the unique initiative of engaging in the field of microfinance and support of the entrepreneurial environment, which have become the worldwide acknowledged solution to poverty and unemployment.

With the success of this early initiative, and indeed with the appreciation and support it received on the local and international levels, Tamweelcom took striding steps forward, expanding from a single office serving a handful of clients to 16 extensive offices with a large number of representatives and staffers who took upon themselves the responsibility of providing the Company’s support and services to all governorates of the Kingdom.

Employee of the Year

Due to his unquestionable loyalty and dedication to the Jordan micro credit company (Tamweelcom), Ashraf Msallam (purchasers officer), was selected as the employee of the year, as to honor his distinct discipline, and work morals. Asharf also continues to develop himself as to meet the continuously changing requirements of the market, and as so he attended training sessions concerning the purchasing skills. Also his stretched out hand for help has gained him the respect and appreciation of all his colleagues in the Jordan micro credit company (Tamweelcom).

Branch of the year

Every year Tamweelcom awards the best of its 13 branches with the title (branch of the year), thus being a gesture honoring the hardest working and most devoted branches, based on a set of high standards and specifications branches of Al-Zarqa’a and Marka were chosen as the branches of the year 2007, Therefore these branches were awarded with prizes in kind as means to stimulate creativity and appreciate superiority.
